DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
📍 Cornerstone Christian Academy | Abingdon, VA
Cornerstone Christian Academy is seeking a passionate, motivated, and relationship-driven Development Director to help advance our mission of Christ-centered, classical education.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage our school’s capital campaign, including major gifts, donor cultivation, and fundraising initiatives.
Develop and implement annual fundraising strategies.
Build strong relationships with donors, businesses, and community partners.
Coordinate fundraising events, grant opportunities, and donor stewardship.
Collaborate with school leadership and the Board of Directors to support the school’s long-term vision and growth.
Qualifications:
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Experience in fundraising, capital campaigns, nonprofit development, or advancement is preferred. Candidates should have a heart for Christian education and a passion for advancing our school’s mission.
